  We are...or WERE frequent guests at the Melting Pot Dayton. However, we were NOT impressed with being forced into a fixed menu at at a much higher cost that we would normally pay, just because it was V-Day weekend. So we cancelled and changed our reservation, only to get a call tonight 2/7/17 informing us they are, yet again, FORCING their customers into the undesirable fixed menu and elevated prices for this weekend AND the weekend after V-Day. What a bunch of shit. I highly doubt we'll be spending any more time at this place of business. We'll go to Coldwater Cafe in Tipp City instead-worth the drive for yummy food, beautiful romantic atmosphere, and NOT being forced into a crap menu. HOW RUDE!

  Execellent place to eat for a night out with your spouse. The four course meal is fabulous. Our server Devin did a fabulous job and was extremely attentive to our needs.

  The atmosphere was matched with a great staff, professional courtesy, and incredibly delicious food. The food though tasting fantastic, is simple but in the best way. Allowing you to enjoy the taste and experience. As a whole it's well worth the trip and will be there again.
