  Really delicious food and a menu that helps anyone find something to fit their taste. Salads, burgers, sandwiches, pasta, seafood, pizza, and quesadillas. Pretty sure that if you want something, they can make it.
  Haven't had anything I don't like.
  The only reason I'll dock them a star is that the service always seems just a little slow during lunch hours, when I'm on the clock to get back. They take my order quickly enough, but getting food seems maybe 5-10 minutes too long.

  I'm not sure what's going on with this place. It looks like it was initially built as a Bill Knapp's restaurant from WAY back in the day, but sat dormant for what seemed like eternity, then became the Kettering Grill. Every time I took my family there, the food was excellent and always came as ordered, but I didn't like the feeling of the place. It didn't feel 'cozy'.. felt more like a fancied up barn. The weekends are busy, but the week days are empty. You should give them a try. I'm not sure what 'Merit's' the new name, but if the food and service remains the same, it's a place to give a try. Their menu is well rounded and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner entrees. There's something here for everyone. There's a small bar in the front of the restaurant.

  Was a regular of Kettering Grill, best food, services and prices you could find around Kettering. In the dozens of times I took my family here, we maybe had 2 or 3 issues with the food. The manager would handle the situation immediately and make sure we were taken care of for the inconvenience. The staff had become more like family than any restaurant we have ever been to. I was sad and shocked to hear they would be closing, especially considering we had never been in for dinner without the place being busy, but we were anxious to see what changes were made and try out the new place.
  1st and only visit- Friendly staff - gone. Family friendly environment- gone. good management -gone.
  In it's place we found a cold, expensive, lower quality (and quantity) experience. It's no wonder we were only 1 or 3 tables in the middle of what should have been a busy rush time for any restaurant. Am hopeful Kettering Grill and Cafe pops back up somewhere else, or at least something like it. In the meantime we will just have to be on the look out for a new place while sticking to cooking at home.
