  Well let me tell you first of all I've never had a problem with steak and shake until we walked into the restaurant on Miller Lane it was filthy hand prints fingerprints food and Lord knows what else was on the walls right next to the table and then looking under the table everything was swept up underneath where they have the drinks where they prepare them the whole restaurant was nasty and filthy dirty I have never been an establishment I've seen it it was that filthy with such a big name to it we will never be going back to this place I seriously have been up with a belly ache all night. If it's already room looks that bad I cannot even imagine what their kitchen looks like the health department should certainly look into this place. And it was so filthy it was blatantly dirty there's no way that management can be doing their job because the place was so dirty I just don't understand it

  Normally have not had any bad experiences at this location but tonight was a different story. Late night pregnancy craving brought my husband and I in. We were greeted by a waitress who seemed a little under developed mentally, which is fine and I don't discriminate against this at all. She sat us at a dirty table right behind a table of 12 people so we moved after she left. We didn't get our drinks until our meal came, which was wrong by the way. Never received our check so we went up to just pay anyways. While I was waiting for someone to cash me out (even though there were 2 other waitresses) my husband asked for drinks to go which took about 2 minutes to get. Someone from the drive they came in because their order was all wrong and a woman who had a big order had something wrong that they always screw up she said. Took about 10 minutes to get cashed out. Will NEVER come back to this location again

  We walked in to see a sign that said wait to be seated. Empty tables everywhere, nearly every staff member looked up at us but no one said a word.... after a few minutes feeling highly disrespected we left. Drove down the road to smash burger. Save yourself the hassle skip this steak and shake and enjoy a great meal somewhere else.

  Worst restaurant service I have ever experienced. Went in just for milkshakes. We waited about 10 minutes after being seated before anyone came to our table to take our order. Each of the three people in our party ordered a water and a milkshake. We got our waters fairly quickly, then waited another 35-40 minutes. No one came to check on us or ever brought our milkshakes. We could hear yelling and arguing from the kitchen. Eventually, we got up and left. After speaking with many of the people in booths around us, we were all having similar experiences. I would have preferred to speak to a manager before leaving, but we would have had to stand at the counter and wait longer for that too.
