  I came into the restaurant 10 minutes after they opened for lunch. There were about 7 tables full, not very crowded. I was sat down relatively quickly but then was completely, inexplicably ignored. No greeting, not even eye contact. After about 9 minutes of this, I was ready to leave when another customer was sat in my section. Not long after that the waiter went past her ,greeted her and let her know he would be with her as soon as possible. He then walked past my table to get to another table behind me , never once making eye contact or saying a word. Some call her treatment versus mine - White Privilege. I only know it can be a long & lonely wait if you don't catch the waiters interest. As far as the food goes, I'd like to write it but I haven't received it yet I've literally been here 35 minutes. If you come on your lunch hour, BEWARE.

  It's Thai 9. So yeah 5 stars all the way. Can't go wrong here. Sushi is awesome. The Thai food is killer as well. I usually get a stir fry and my wife gets a curry. Both are amazing.

  Very impressed! I had never visited Thai 9 before this visit, but I will certainly go back again! The service was outstanding! The dinner I ordered was delicious! The portion size was more than i could eat in one sitting and very fair for the price. Really, everything was grand!

  If going, plan on a visit to the bar as they don't take reservations. Also, cash is king....no credit cards accepted. Steak was done to perfection and tender as advertised and worth the wait. Drinks are reasonably priced and steaks are a bit pricey. Will go back but not too often as I am not the waiting kind.

  A little hole in the wall, Thai 9 looks like another Oregon District restaurant until you enter and are swept away into a lush, green oasis. With high wooden beams and natural sunlight, it presents a very different atmosphere. The wafts of curry and spices were quite tantalizing. The service was speedy while not compromising quality (we visited around 1 PM), and the prices were decent with good portion sizes. The menu had plenty from which to choose. I would return to visit myself, and would highly recommend it to a friend.
